Balrog

A former boxing champion, Balrog was banned from the sport because of violent illegal fighting moves resulting in the permanent injuries and deaths of his opponents. After his ban, M. Bison recruited him to join Shadaloo and worked his way from the very bottom to become one of Bison’s right hand men.

After the death of M. Bison at the hands of Akuma, Balrog became leader of what was left of the fallen Shadoloo criminal organization. As with many rich athletes, Balrog mismanaged his fortune and ran the crumbled Shadoloo into the ground. Balrog became nothing more than a bum on the streets.
